Well, I have lived in the Blue Mountains for some 30 years and have always been fascinated by the landscape and the beauty (and its occasional spookiness through silence) and the contrasting human poverty and desperation, sometimes reflected in murders, either here or elsewhere by locals.
There is also the simple fact of just how close you are to ' death by gravity' here everyday of the week.....
